Robin Ellis makes another appearance on Poldark

Poldark fans can look forward to another appearance by the original Ross Poldark, when actor Robin Ellis reprises the role of Reverend Halse in Episode 6.

When last we saw the tough magistrate, he had sentenced Jim Carter to two years in prison for poaching, despite Ross’s (Aiden Turner) impassioned pleas to show mercy to the young miner.  This left Ross embittered and disillusioned towards the gentry.

Will Ross and Reverend Halse clash again? Tune into Episode 6 to find out.
