#MCM Showdown: Team Lincoln or Team Blake?

Happy #MCM everyone! With Comic-Con wrapping up, I thought this week’s #MCM showdown should feature everyone’s favorite hunks from The CW’s, The 100! As shooting for season 3 begins this Wednesday, I thought I’d remind everyone of the amazingness that is Bellamy Blake and Lincoln!

A born leader from the beginning, as soon as the Ark touches down Bellamy immediately steps into the role of leader, even if that means going head-to-head with Clarke sometimes.

As the story progresses we get a glimpse into Bellamy’s past and why he’s so protective of baby sister Octavia. With the Ark having strict rules against having children, families were only allowed to have one child per family. Mama Blake however had another, forcing Octavia to become the baby beneath the floorboards of their compartment. When Octavia is caught because of a mistake on Bellamy’s end, Octavia gets locked up, which is why we learn Bellamy is so protective. Way to go big brother!

But like all siblings, the Blake siblings have their share of fights. Usually because Bellamy is TOO protective of Octavia, whereas Lincoln is all for his girl going out and getting her fight on!

Despite being a Grounder, Lincoln risks his reputation with his Commander and fellow Grounders to protect Octavia. Consider them a modern day Romeo and Juliet if you will.

I will say though that throughout the series, Bellamy goes through huge character development. Finally realizing that their best bet of surviving is by sticking together. Big brother Blake goes through his little rebellious phase and with the help of Clarke moves up to becoming the type of leader the remaining Arkers need. Rack one up for Bellamy!
