UnReal – Summer’s Hit Show

Looking for a new show to become obsessed with this summer? Is the months before your fall shows return normally bleak without anything you want to see? Not this summer! UnREAL is the show to watch, located on Lifetime Monday’s 10pm ET/PT. UnREAL airs after Devious Maids and is the one-two punch that is going to destroy your Monday night blues.

UnREAL takes a behind the scenes look at the drama that unfolds while shooting reality T.V. shows. If you’re a fan of reality shows then this is just added entertainment and excitement to your viewing experience. As much as the drama for the ‘on screen’ aspect is exciting to see unfold, it’s the behind the scene drama revolving around Rachel that hooks you.

But let’s talk about the real reason I’m excited for this show; the cast!

Shiri Appleby (“Girls”) is playing Rachel Goldberg, a producer that is tasked with upping the drama and getting the tears flowing on set while dealing with her own shortcomings. It is hard not to fall in love with the character Rachel and even harder not too with Shiri Appleby.

Constance Zimmer (“House of Cards,” “Entourage”) is playing Quinn King, the executive producer who cares about nothing but getting the juicy, tear filled and sexy shots for the show. Every show needs a villian and as easy as it can be to hate her character, I can’t help but love her just as much.

My personal favorite; Arielle Kebbel (“The Vampire Diaries”) who is guest starring as Brittany who has no filter and is ruthless. It’s great seeing her on my screen again.

UnREAL’s power hitting cast also includes Craig Bierko as Chet, Freddie Stroma as Adam Cromwell, Breeda Wool as Faith, and Nathalie Kelley as Grace.You’ll find someone to root for and to hate in this dramatic hitting new show.
