New Comedy Series from ABC Family to Premiere this August

ABC Family has recently begun production on their newest comedy series, Kevin from Work.

Kevin from Work centers on Kevin, a young man who declares his unrequited love for his coworker Audrey, in a letter, after believing he’ll never see her again after he accepts a job overseas (think Can’t Hardly Wait but in the workforce). Shortly after the job falls through Kevin is forced to return to his old job, also forcing him to face his declaration of love to his coworker.

Noah Reid (Backpackers) is cast as the series lead, Kevin, opposite Paige Spara as Audrey, his love interest. Also appearing on the show will be Matt Murray (Rookie Blue), Jordan Hinson (Eureka), Punam Patel, with guest star Amy Sedaris (Strangers with Candy).

The comedy is written, created and executive-produced by Barbie Adler (How I Met Your Mother, My Name Is Earl, Arrested Development).

Kevin from Work premieres on Wednesday, August 12 at 8:30PM ET, following ABC Family’s other hit comedy, Young & Hungry.
