‘Suits’ Scores Season 5 Renewal

Who’s ready for more legal action? If you’re a fan of USA’s Suits, then here’s some good news!

The hit dramatic series, starring Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman and Sarah Rafferty, will return for a fifth season consisting of 16 episodes, the cable network announced on Monday.

“Suits continues to fire on all cylinders, delivering provocative storytelling and complex characters that viewers can’t get enough of,” said USA Network president Chris McCumber in a statement. “With some of the best writing on television, and a brilliant ensemble cast, we anticipate a spectacular fifth season for a series that has become a marquee property for USA.”

Currently, the series is approaching the middle of its fourth season, with the midseason finale set for Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 9/8c.
