SIIINES Announce their "Fukushimarama!" US Tour
SIIINES, the Los Angeles based electro-rock band who recently released their new EP, Fukushimarama! are set to hit the road in the US this Spring to support their new EP. Their tour kicked off in Detroit on the 10th of April at the Pike Room at CroFoot.
April 24th they are making their stamp on Austin, TX at the Red Eyed Fly, one show that’s not to be missed!
If anyone could merge rock in to electronic dance – SIIINES do it perfectly. They push all boundaries and cross all lines to produce a unique and refreshing take on their genre. In 2012, SIIINES released their Disk0sno EP, which took out the Edmonton Music Award for ‘Best Electronic Release’. This was exactly what they needed, putting them in the front seat and travelling at high speeds! This meant experimentation with live control of lights and video, building custom plexiglass stage equipment, processing guitars live through computers, vocal sampling, and improvising with the electronic production elements, it ended up not only bringing life to rock, but danger and unpredictability to the electronic side of the project.
Fukushimarama! involves all the great things – Celebrity, drugs, sex, money, and other vices we use to forget about our normal lives. When asked about the Fukushimarama!, Morgan Gies, one of the main founders of SIIINES, states, “It’s about watching the world burn and dancing in the flames. YOLO!”
