The cinema world has been flooded these past few years with movies based on their novel counterparts and Vampire Academy is no different. Fans all over the world have sung the series praises since Razorbill published the first novel written by author Richelle Mead in 2007 and have been clamoring for a movie for just as long.
VA Fans finally got their wish because in what could possibly be the best Valentine’s gift ever to a fandom the movie Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters will be have a worldwide release on February 14th, 2014.
If you’re not familiar with the series, and really how could you not be, Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters centers around our heroine Rose a spirited guardian in training at St. Vladimir’s Academy and let’s not forget her best friend Lissa, their friend Natalie, and extremely good-looking mentor by the name of Dmitri, and everybody’s favorite “we’re just friends” Mason.
Not to mention a half-dozen other colorful characters that round out this movie that makes no bones about the fact that if you are looking for another Twilight keep looking cause this movie isn’t it.
Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters stars Zoey Deutch, Sarah Hyland, Lucy Fry, Cameron Monaghan, Sami Gayle, Danila Kozlovsky, and Gabriel Byrne.
