Comic Con 2013: 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'The Originals' Schedule of Events
The annual Comic Con convention in San Diego, California, isn’t just for comic book lovers. As every Comic Con attendee can tell you, Comic Con hosts plenty of events that cater to the TV and movie buffs. The WB Network and it’s affiliates are regular attendees – and this year is no exception. For the fifth straight year, the fan-favorite CW TV show The Vampire Diaries will have a booth and cast panel at the convention. The Vampire Diaries‘ new spin-off show The Originals will be attending as well – their first appearance at Comic Con, although Joseph Morgan, one of the stars of The Originals, has attended Comic Con for The Vampire Diaries in the past.
Several cast members from each show will be present. The Vampire Diaries cast members include: Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce), Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore/Silas), Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore), Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett), and Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes), along with executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries. As for The Originals, Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Claire Holt (Rebekah), Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), and Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) will be present alongside Julie Plec, the show’s executive producer.

Though there will not be a live-stream of the cast panels, The WB should be uploading the full panels to YouTube at a later date. Note: all times listed below are Pacific Standard Time.
