As a multi-instrumentalist, the San Diego-based Daniel Sumstine wrote and recorded each of the songs on his newest EP, “Timeless.” After its release charted at #120 on iTunes Alternative charts independently, it gathered worldwide attention from the online community. Sumstine began his music career by following national tours and selling his demos outside shows each night. In order to pay for travel expenses, he began playing living room shows for fans and anywhere that would book him. Since then, Sumstine opened on the U.S/Canadian “Resolution Tour,” playing with the likes of Action Item, Paradise Fears and Before You Exit. Hello Highway also looks to write and record his first full-length release, expected later this year.
Jocelyn is a pop-rock band hailing from Iowa City, IA. Jocelyn formed in early 2012 when long-time friends and band mates Alex Wiese (Bass) and Landen Boyer (Vocals) wrapped up college. They connected with Steve Lydick (Guitar), and immediately recorded their debut EP “To You And Yours” with producer Kevin Gates. Like Hello Highway, Jocelyn found tours of similar style to their own and hit each and every stop the tours made with fliers and CDs. The band took time in between tours to write and found themselves with their second EP “Storyline,” recorded in the early fall. With two tours that they wanted to follow happening simultaneously, Jocelyn enlisted the help of Josh Adams (Guitar/Vocals) to cover more ground. Since then, Jocelyn has been playing a series of acoustic living room shows of their own throughout the country and have sold 10,000 albums to-date between their two releases.
Once Upon A Time is a three-piece pop-rock band hailing from Phoenix, Arizona that formed when friends, Andrew Long (Vocals) and Jamie Dicarlo (Guitar) decided to join together and start a band. Recently, the guys have met up with Connor Schnepf (Piano) to complete their sound. Prior to releasing any recorded material, the band had gathered an active following that landed them multiple shows on Allstar Weekend’s All The Way tour and The Rocket Summer’s Life Will Write The Words tour. In early 2012, OUAT released their debut EP, “Open Your Eyes.” Since then, Once Upon A Time has played shows with the likes of This Century, Artist vs. Poet, Hollywood Ending and more and was featured as one of Alternative Press’s “Bands You Need To Know” in their May 2013 issue. More recently, the band has received a lot of attention for their newest single, “Nobody” and are expected to release their Sophomore EP this fall.
