‘Veronica Mars’ and Piz makes Six

I thought for sure we wouldn’t be getting any new casting scoop until Monday, but then Rob Thomas went and shocked me again. Welcome the one and only Stosh ‘Piz’ Piznarski to the cast of the Veronica Mars movie! Ok so some of you may know him better as Dell from Private Practice or Stuart from The Help, but fans of the teen noir show will always remember Chris Lowell from the 3rd and final season of Veronica Mars.

There is no word on how he fits in to the story considering it is said to be based around Veronica’s 10 year class reunion and Piz didn’t meet up with the gang until college so it will be interesting to see how he fits in. Lowell joins the recently announce Percy Daggs III, Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, and the waiter. Who might not be the waiter any more. Filming is scheduled to begin on June 17th.
