Artist of the Week: Savannah Outen

Bio: Savannah began singing and performing at an early age. When she turned 15 she started posting covers of her favorite songs on YouTube, which is now what she’s famous for. Her first cover video was “Listen” from the movie “Dreamgirls”. Savannah also released  her first single “Goodbyes” in 2007. In 2009 she released  two more singles which were featured on Radio Disney. In 2012, Savannah released her “Sing To Me” EP, which features her hit song “Fairytales of L.A.”. Today, Savannah has over 39,404 YouTube subscribers, and her videos have over 81,456,731 views.

Why she is our Artist of the Week:  YouTube has given singers the ability to perform in front of millions on a daily basis. Although, YouTube is available for any ones use, it takes a strong, talented, confident person to post videos on the site. Savannah posses all those characteristics. Her voice and lyrics express her talent. She’s posted 134 videos on YouTube and hasn’t been afraid of criticism, which proves her strength and confidence. Savannah has also used YouTube to connect with her fans personally. She takes cover requests, and will even record special videos for fans who run her fan-sites! She is truly an incredible artist and HRC can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for her!
