The 29 year old pop-rock artist sure got it right with this new single. Home is a slow, meaningful ballad where you can feel the pain that Cabrera was feeling while writing. The emotion in his voice right off the bat brings you into the song, making you feel something for yourself; you can definitely tell he means every word he sings. The song slowly builds in more instrumental through the chorus, and then slows back down for each verse, giving you the feeling of the hills and valleys of any heartache. The bridge hits hard, featuring some incredible strings. The track continues to build through the bridge, ending softly. A piano flawlessly backs Cabrera’s voice through the entirety of the track.
