Presenting WJRR’s Earthday Birthday 25 – Celebrating 25 Years of Rock in Central Florida

On Sunday, April 21, 2018, Orlando’s rock radio station WJRR will present its 25th annual Earthday Birthday rock and roll festival. Music fans can enjoy this one-day bash that takes place across three stages of entertainment, including an acoustic stage, as well as a chill zone, a charity zone supporting local artists and charities, a vendor village, live wrestling matches, a BMX stunt show, helicopter rides, an awesome selection of food and drink, and much, much more!

Of course, Earthday Birthday is all about the music, and this year’s line up is nothing short of incredible! The headliners are Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Seether, All That Remains, Nonpoint, Starset, Fozzy, 10 years, Powerman 5000, and Red. All of these bands are included with the purchase of a general admission ticket.

General admission tickets are $65 plus service charges and tax. Click here to purchase tickets from Ticketmaster.

You can avoid service charges by buying tickets for a flat rate of $70 at the following physical locations:

  • WJRR Prize Window located at 2500 Maitland Center Parkway, in Maitland, between the hours of 12 and 6 pm.
  • I Heart Media Melbourne, 1388 Babcock Road, Melbourne, during normal business hours.
  • Elixir Bar Room, 9 West Washington Street, Orlando, during regular business hours.
  • Jax 5th Avenue Lake Mary, located at 951 Greenwood Blvd in Lake Mary.

Additionally, you can purchase tickets on-the-go, by dialing #250 (that’s pound 250) from your cell and saying the keywords “Earthday Birthday.” You’ll have the option to receive an auto-dialed text message from WJRR with a direct link to buy tickets.

Stay tuned to Talk Nerdy With Us as we’ll be updating information as the festival draws closer!

Hello, my name is Arlene Allen, and I love all things nerd: genre tv and movies, books, loud rock and roll music, kittens, conventions, books, graphic novels and superheroes, RPG and tabletop games, and did I say books? Oh, yes. I spent 25 years as a librarian (nerd) mainly working with youth (creating nerds), a number of years as a teacher (more nerd indoctrination). I have my own spawn, leveled up to 22 and my partner in nerdiness. As a nerdy writer, I have found a home at Talk Nerdy With Us.
