From Image Comics comes a new trade paperback of their horror comic series GLITTERBOMB, due out this March.
Writer Jim Zub, known for WAYWARD and SKULLKICKERS, and artist Djibril Morissette-Phan (of The Ultimates and All-New Wolverine) join forces to bring us into the lives of “the dark heart of celebrity” with this paperback. Farrah Durante struggles to find work as an actress in an industry where, sadly, “youth trumps experience.” For middle-aged Farrah, this creates a frustrating situation, and those frustrations bring out something truly horrifying…something “ready to exact revenge on the shallow, celebrity-obsessed culture that’s led her astray.”
Of GLITTERBOMB, Zub had this to say: “Delving into the dark heart of celebrity with wonderful collaborators like K Michael Russell, Marshall Dillon, and Holly Raychelle Hughes has been a thrill. We’re excited for readers to read this opening salvo as we reload and take aim at new targets in the next story arc.”
GLITTERBOMB VOLUME 1: RED CARPET comes to comic book stores March 1st, 2017, and bookstores March 7th. Preorder is available via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indiebound, and Indigo
