2016 Critics’ Choice Awards Television Nominations

The Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association have announced the television nominees for the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards. One of the surprises was a couple of nominations for Netflix’s new show, The Crown, which was only released on November 4th, about one month before the ceremony. These nominations bring Netflix’s total up to 14, where it is tied with ABC, and second to HBO with 22 total nominations. TJ Miller will return to host the 22nd annual Critics’ Choice Awards, which airs live on A&E on December 11th at 8 PM ET.
