Recently, actress Raven-Symone shocked and delighted fans when she announced that she would be leaving The View in order to star in and executive produce the long-awaited sequel to her hit Disney Channel show That’s So Raven. Premiering in 2003, the original series, which followed the adventures of psychic teenager Raven Baxter as well as her friends and family, ran for four years and garnered critical praise as well as several award nominations. It also became one of the Disney Channel’s most successful shows, spawning a spin-off called Cory in the House, multiple plug-in novels, a plethora of merchandise and a fervent fan-base.

Now, fans are gearing up for the series reprisal, which will feature Raven as a divorced mother of two pre-teen kids, one of whom has inherited her ability to see the future. While the show is still in the midst of preliminary casting—and it’s unclear as to how many members of the original cast will be returning—it has been announced that the pilot will be written by longtime writing/producing partners Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff, guaranteeing that this new installment will continue the fearless, spot-on comedy that viewers have come to expect from this franchise. However, before this new chapter debuts, let’s take a look at what some of our favorite cast members have been up to since the curtains closed in 2007.

Raven-Symone (Raven Baxter)

Raven-Symone had already made a name for herself as an actress by the time she was cast as psychic teen Raven Baxter in That’s So Raven. She scored her first big role when she was only four years old, playing Olivia Kendall in The Cosby Show. Afterwards, she landed a leading role in the show Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper and in the film Dr. Dolittle. Since That’s So Raven  ended, Symone has made appearances in the films College Road Trip and A Girl Like Grace, and guest-starred on State of Georgia, See Dad Run, Empire, K.C. Undercover, Black-ish and Nashville. In addition, she also established herself as a talented singer-songwriter and served as a co-host on The View—and yes, she will be returning as Raven for the That’s So Raven sequel!

Orlando Brown (Eddie Thomas)

He also provided his voice to the cartoons Fillmore! and The Proud Family. After That’s So Raven ended, Brown joined the cast of The End and landed parts in the films Christmas in Compton, American Bad Boy, Straight Outta Compton and Smoke-Filled Lungs. Fans can expect to see him in the upcoming film Bloody Hands. As of now, he is not slated to be returning for the That’s So Raven sequel.

Kyle Massey (Cory Baxter)

Right after That’s So Raven ended, Kyle Massey got his very own spin-off: Cory in the House. Sadly, this show only lasted one year. From there, Massey scored roles in the series The Electric Company, Fish Hooks, Gotham and Being Mary Jane. Fans can expect to see him in the upcoming films Ripped and Lowlife. There is no word as to whether he will be part of the That’s So Raven sequel.

Anneliese van der Pol (Chelsea Daniels)

That’s So Raven served as Anneliese van der Pol’s first major role on television and as a crucial stepping stone in her career. After that show ended, she landed parts in the shows The Battery’s Down, Shake It Up, Friends with Benefits and Shalom Sesame. Her other credits include the films Vampires Suck, Extremely Decent and Cats Dancing on Jupiter. Additionally, Van der Pol also built a career as a singer and has appeared in several Broadway and off-Broadway shows. Her next project, 5 Weddings, is in the pre-production stage. It’s not clear yet whether she will be a part of the That’s So Raven sequel series.

Before she took on the role of the quirky Tanya Baxter, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah was best known for her work in the shows Waynehead, Cosby and In Living Color. Therefore, it’s no surprise that she continued to have a prosperous career in television after That’s So Raven ended. She scored roles in American Dragon: Jake Long, Black Soap and Let’s Stay Together as well as the TV movie Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens. Fans can expect to see her in several upcoming projects, including the films What Happened Last Night, Revival, Live to Tell and Laveau, and the television show Dumped.
