YouTube Sensation Joey Graceffa Releases His First Fantasy Novel, “Children of Eden”

Joey Graceffa, the sweet, sexy, blonde haired blue eyed YouTube sensation behind the original series “Escape the Night” along with several short films and music videos, has released his first young adult fantasy novel, “Children of Eden.” Having captured the hearts of more than 8.3 million viewers with his charm, wit, and inspiration, the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir “In Real Life” is now presenting his first work of fiction.

Outside of Eden, Earth is poisoned and dead. Rowan is a second child in a world where population control measures make her an outlaw, marked for death. As an illegal second child, Rowan has been hidden away for sixteen years. She can never go to school, make friends, or get the eye implants that would allow her to pass as a true member of Eden. In addition, her kaleidoscopic eyes will give her away to the ruthless Center government. Now, desperate to see the world, she recklessly escapes for what she swears will be only one night of adventure. Though she finds an exotic world, and even a friend, the night leads to tragedy and Rowan becomes a renegade on the run—unleashing a chain of events that could change the world of Eden forever.

Written by Arlene Allen

Hello, my name is Arlene Allen, and I love all things nerd: genre tv and movies, books, loud rock and roll music, kittens, conventions, books, graphic novels and superheroes, RPG and tabletop games, and did I say books? Oh, yes. I spent 25 years as a librarian (nerd) mainly working with youth (creating nerds), a number of years as a teacher (more nerd indoctrination). I have my own spawn, leveled up to 22 and my partner in nerdiness. As a nerdy writer, I have found a home at Talk Nerdy With Us.
