ODY-C Receives Epic Hardcover Edition

From writer Matt Fraction and artist Christian Ward, ODY-C is getting the hardcover treatment in a big way this November. The sci-fi series, modeled after Homer’s Odyssey, follows three warrior queens heading home after a century in battle. It’s “told in verse with a visual sensibility that redefines the very possibilities of the comics medium.” Odyssia, Ene, and Gamem’s adventures include the first twelve issues, “essays by classicist Dani Colman, teaching aids, and a massive 10-page fold-out previously only available in the sold-out first issue.”

ODY-C’s hardcover release will be in November (Wednesday the 23rd for comic book stores and Tuesday the 29th for bookstores), so mark your calendars or preorder through Amazon, Indiebound, Barnes & Noble, or Indigo.
