Young and Heartless Release “Stay Away”

unnamed (6)Fresh off of a supporting slot on tour with Saosin, Young and Heartless have released their second full-length album, Stay Away, on Hopeless Records.

“Our new album ‘Stay Away’ is an emotional rabbit-hole, and writing it as well as listening to it now, we continually find ourselves in a different place than we expected,” Young and Heartless said of the new album. “It compliments our past, but as a whole it was a radical change in our songwriting. Working with Will Yip was a pleasure; he is nothing short of a visionary. Not only did he work with us to create a great sounding album, he believed in the entire project.”

Stay Away is the band’s first full release since their 2014 debut, The Pull of Gravity. That album was later reissued on Hopeless Records, planting Young and Heartless alongside labelmates like Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory, and The Used. Stay Away will be supported with a performance at The Wrecking Ball ATL.

Stay Away is available now on iTunes and Spotify. You can see the video for Young and Heartless’ new single, “Noisecreep,” below.

When Nathan is not writing about music, he might be writing material for his often neglected blog at nathanbadley.com. Or he might be writing something else. Or podcasting. Or playing music. Most likely he is just watching TV thinking about how he should be doing those things. You can tweet him @badlandsbadley and congratulate him on his mad 3rd person writing skills.
