Interview with Loan Chabanol, star of The Transporter: Refueled; at the MTV Fandom Awards

If you haven’t heard the name Loan Chabanol yet, you should get used to it because you will be seeing a lot of her soon. Even though she just started her acting career a mere two years ago, she has already starred alongside high-profile actors such as Woody Allen, James Franco, and Mila Kunis. Before she pursued acting, she had been modeling in Paris since she was only 16, and was featured on the covers of both Elle and Marie Claire magazine. I talked to her at the MTV Fandom Awards about her upcoming role in the new movie, The Transporter: Refeuled.

You are starring in the new Transporter Refueled movie, can you tell us a little about your character Anna?

“She’s a mysterious femme fatale. She is a very smart person. She is very interesting because she has a detailed back-story in the beginning and you can see where she comes from and why she does what she does.”

What was it like filming an action movie?

“Everyday was something new! You don’t know what is going to happen to you! That’s how you are going to feel when you watch the movie, you don’t know what is going to happen to you. That is how I felt everyday. When you like adrenaline and all those exciting elements of an action film, everything is amazing.”

Have you done anything like it before?

“No it was my first time!”

What was the cast chemistry like?

“The cast was so welcoming! We all love acting, so it was great to be on the same level with each other and really support each other. I love them, they are really great.”

What show are you currently nerding out over?

“True Detective! It’s really cool. I love everything that has to do with underground stories. I haven’t done anything like it, but I would love to one day.”

The Transporter: Refueled will be released on September 4, 2015 in the United States.
